By 2025, the laser industry will usher in three major disruptive factors: 1) Material innovation: The mass production of gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductor lasers will drive a 40% cost reduction for consumer electronics and automotive lidar. 2) The integration of digital and intelligent technologies: Laser equipment manufacturing is moving towards intelligence. Through the application of big data analysis and artificial intelligence algorithms, laser equipment can achieve self-diagnosis, process optimization, and intelligent scheduling, further improving production efficiency and processing quality, adapting to the future development trend of intelligent manufacturing. 3) Green, low-carbon, and sustainable transformation: Laser manufacturing will adopt a low-energy consumption approach and be used for green development, playing a significant role in the manufacture of new energy vehicles and solar cells, contributing to global carbon neutrality goals. At the same time, laser equipment companies, following a 'technology + scenario' approach, are gradually transforming from single equipment suppliers to 'comprehensive intelligent manufacturing solution providers.'
